Welcome families of CSD! We are grateful to be providing spiritual development programming to and building community with your kids in the 2024-25 church year. We'll be moving slow but steady this year as the new USG staff team settles in.

By registering your child this year, you can stay connected to our CSD community as it evolves and will receive our weekly Family Newsletter to get updates.

This year, we hope to serve your family through in-person programming for children, ranging from childcare on most Sundays in the Wiggle Room to OWL for our 7th-9th graders. We'll also be thinking about all-ages family events throughout the year. (If you've already registered your 7th-9th grader for OWL, you do not have to re-register them here).

We hope you will consider how you can support the program throughout the year, such as teaching in Sunday's Child Spiritual Development classes, helping organize seasonal events, or even just lending a hand. We all minister in different ways - thank you!

About our Membership Policy

We hope you will consider volunteering some time to make our program a success. As a co-op, we rely on the enthusiasm and support of our parents! Child Safety Background Checks
If you plan to volunteer as part of our CSD team (encouraged for member/parents, we are a co-op!), the state of Pennsylvania requires that all adults working with children (including periodic volunteers) pass a background check.

Child Spiritual Development Registration Fee
This year we'll be doing a sliding scale model for CSD programs. This will help us to cover supply and material costs. However, we all give in many ways! Your children are welcome as registered participants of CSD even if this cost is inaccessible. If that's the case, we are grateful for the other ways you can support this program like volunteering. If you are in a position to pay more, we welcome that gift in making CSD more equitable.
