Changemakers Reading Group
Facilitated by Francis Raven

We all want to make change, but how do things change at all? Every other week we will talk about a reading on the topic of how change is possible at a personal, spiritual, political, and social level. We will meet for about an hour after the service and discuss readings that might include selections from Rebecca Solnit's Hope in the Dark, Pema Chödrön's Comfortable with Uncertainty (or Start Where You Are), bell hooks' The Will to Change, Audre Lorde's The Master’s Tools Will Never Dismantle the Master’s House, and Agnes Callard's Aspiration, among others (depending on the mood). Hopefully, these readings will make us better changemakers!

Meetings will take place every other Sunday from September 27th-December 20th. Dates include September 27th, October 11th, October 25th, November 8th, November 22nd, December 6th, and December 20th.

Meetings will be from 12:15 to 1:30pm in Sullivan 3 on these Sundays. Copies of the readings will be provided.
